I’m Melissa, the face behind Simply Sorted and a mom of two boys! After more than 11 years of managing businesses, I’m excited to bring the systems, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills I’ve developed into something of my own.
Decluttering and organizing have always made me genuinely happy. As a busy mom, I also understand that organization needs to be practical for real life—not just beautiful in a picture.

Booking & product purchasing
A clear plan from the start.
Your complimentary consultation is where we talk through your space, goals, budget, and general approach. Personalized planning and product recommendations begin once your organizing session is officially booked.
Reserve your session
50% booking retainer
A signed service agreement and a non-refundable 50% retainer reserve your date and begin the personalized planning process.
- For the $250 Founding Client Special, the retainer is $125.
- The retainer is applied toward your session total.
- The remaining $125 is due 24 hours before your session.
- One reschedule is available with at least 48 hours’ notice.

- You stay in control of your product budget.
- Products and supplies are separate from the organizing service fee.
- No products are recommended until we understand what your space actually needs.
Full-service option

If you’d rather have the shopping handled, I can purchase approved organizing products on your behalf.
- Written approval is required before purchasing.
- 100% of the estimated product cost is paid in advance.
- A 15% procurement fee covers sourcing, ordering, and coordination.
- Receipts are provided and any unused product funds are refunded.

- The free consultation includes general ideas and next steps.
- Customized links and layouts are shared after booking.
- All recommendations are tailored to your home, lifestyle, and budget.
Additional services & fees
A little extra help, clearly priced.
- Travel: $50 per visit for locations more than 25 miles from our business location, measured one way.
- Donation drop-off: $25.
- Basic item assembly: $25 per half hour.
Applicable fees are discussed and approved before your session and are separate from the organizing service fee.
Please note: The booking retainer becomes non-refundable once planning begins. Final scheduling, purchasing, cancellation, and rescheduling terms are outlined in your signed service agreement.

Questions before we begin?
Do I need to clean before you arrive?
Not at all! Please don’t feel like you need to prepare or hide anything. I’m there to help, never judge.
Do I need to buy bins first?
No. We’ll first understand what you own and what the space needs. Any recommended products are discussed and approved before purchase.
Are organizing products included?
Organizing time is included in your session. Bins, baskets, labels, and other products are purchased separately only with your approval.
